June 14 - The annual SCRAP/OREAP Field School opens at 9 am at the Field Bickford Site on Durham Point. We are there Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm. We will be there until July 9. Please stop by and see us!

The Oyster River Environs Archaeology Project (OREAP) is sponsored by the New Hampshire State Conservation and Rescue Archaeology Program (SCRAP) in partnership with Crane & Morrison Archaeology, Freeport, Maine. Dr. Richard A. Boisvert, New Hampshire State Archaeologist, is the coordinator of SCRAP. Craig J. Brown, field archaeologist (Crane & Morrison Archaeology) and University of Massachusetts Boston graduate student, serves as the project director of OREAP. Pamela Crane and Peter Morrison owners of Crane & Morrison Archaeology supervise the archaeological excavations. Mark Greenly provides survey, mapping, and G.I.S. support. Dr. Peter Sablock, of Salem State College, Salem, Massachusetts, conducts the geophysical and geological survey. Please take a second to check out our individual bios.
